About

I received my M.D. from the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) where I then completed my internship and residency training in the field of Psychiatry. During this time, I worked with a group to create a Women’s Mental Health Focus Track within the Psychiatry training program and was the first to graduate with this specialty focus in Women’s Mental Health.

Before and during my medical training, I was involved in a variety of research projects ranging from psychoneuroendocrine research on the developing brain to medical education. I also have decades long experience in teaching at the high school, medical school, residency, and postgraduate levels. Since 2020, I have served on the Board of the San Francisco Psychotherapy Research Group where I regularly teach courses about Control-Mastery Theory.

To ensure that I am providing the highest quality of care for my patients, I maintain several professional memberships and regularly attend conferences in the fields of psychiatry, psychotherapy, and women’s health.

I am no longer accepting new patients in California.
